Absolutely amazing

If I could give 0 stars I would. My friend lost his father suddenly and we contacted Cheap Cremations first, and they were so friendly and accommodating. I mentioned that we had no idea how the process worked and I was talked through the basics. It all sounded great and I put my friend down as the primary contact. Fast forward a week later, I get an irate phone call from Hillary accusing us of choosing another funeral director. She said she didnt hear back from the primary contact (the bereaved son, who'd spent the whole week since the death cleaning out his dad's house with the help of only one other family member) so she called me and wouldn't let me get a word in trying to work out what she was saying. She pretty much kept saying that we were off their work portal which could only mean we'd chosen to go elsewhere for cremation services (not true) She said, "Im quite irritated" which was extremely unprofessional for her to have said to a customer, in geberal and in this particular industry of work she's in. Im telling her to calm down for a second because I didnt like her her tone so that we could work out what's going on. No sooner had I told her that her tone was out of place that she hung up on me. I called them back, crying out of shock of what had just happened, to get another worker who was trying to soothe things over. I passed on what happened to my friend, who emailed his displeasure of my experience, only to get back an email saying it wasnt Hillary's intention to cause upset. Which, after her not giving me 2 seconds to work out with her what had happened was pretty poor customer service on her end. I found out later that the issue that kicked off this whole mess was when the son was contacted by the coroner to sign off on a funeral director that he was confused as the coroner said "tribute funerals" instead of Cheap Cremations and the son thought they were two different places and just wanted to double check that was the right place before he handed over his father's body to whoever. So yeah, one tiny, very fixable, mistake from us two absolute beginners in the funeral arrangements field caused 1 "professional" to treat us very poorly. Maybe she was having a bad day, I dont know. But we got no apology from her and we were shook for days at the experience. We didnt need that. We didnt know the procedure. I told Cheap Cremations that in my first sentence to them in my first phone call. Hillary, please consider this the next time you feel annoyed at your customers. Not everybody knows how it all works. Sometimes its hard to be in full contact when someone is grieving sudden loss. Life is more complicated than what you have to do in your work day.

Called 5 different funeral directors. Martin was the only one that was personable. Asked if our loved one was still with us and said to spend as much time with them as possible. Hillary and Martin were professional and warm whilst we were dealing with a difficult time. Thankful for all you help.

Dealing with Cheap Cremations was an excellent experience during a difficult time. I needed an inexpensive cremation only service and Hillary and Martin provided outstanding customer service - great communication, prompt action and easy to follow forms and instructions. Cheap Cremations is part of Tribute Funerals, so has the solid experience of a full service funeral director should you need more than a basic cremation. Thoroughly recommended.

Unfortunately I had the misfortune of availing myself twice in 6 months of the services of cheap cremations. They were very helpful, providing a seemless quality service at a reasonable price. Would recommend them.
