To Julie and the incredible staff at Gladstone Valley Funerals. I would like to sincerely thank you on behalf of our family for the highly professional co-ordination of our Mum's funeral. From our first meeting the kindness you displayed, the compassion you showed, all of the small personal touches that brought our family great comfort throughout, honouring all of our requests, and for supporting us in every way throughout this difficult time. Thank you for making mums send off the best that it could be. Your commitment and dedication knows no bounds and we would highly recommend your services to anyone. Thank you for everything.
Julie was incredible, she went above and beyond. She has become a friend and basically a part of the family, she made me feel like her son. I genuinely felt happy seeing her on the morning of. I’m actually going to miss not seeing her; as strange as that sounds. You will not be disappointed, it was an already impossible scenario, she made sure to check on my family regularly. I cannot recommend her and Gladstone valley funerals more.
My grandmothers funeral was done through Gladstone valley funerals, there were a lot of grandchildren, brothers and friends on the other side of the country that unfortunately couldn't make it and were relying on a streaming service which was advised would be provided at and extra cost. it was streamed and uploaded with no sound at all for the entire funeral so unable to be watched. The lady on the phone was quite insensitive to the situation when I called to ask about it and didn't seem interested in trying to see if it could be resolved. Very disheartening and a lot of upset family members.
