Identity Urns
About the company
Identity Urns creates cremation ashes urns from sports balls, using real balls and a patented manufacturing process, in codes including NRL, AFL, soccer, rugby union and NBA. The company's history is told by founder Ali Facer.
The idea began after Ali's father passed away in December 2008 and the family struggled to find a fitting resting place for his ashes. It grew out of a related practice by Ali's husband, a surfboard maker, who placed the ashes of the family's dog, Buster, inside a memorial surfboard he continued to surf.

We cannot think of anything more perfect to honor our father. Thank you to the team for accommodating some modifications. While I hope to never need the service again, I would highly recommend Identity Urns and their people.
Wonderful product I spent so many hours searching for the perfect resting place to honour my late husband and passionate AFL fan. I discovered Identity Urns, a small Queensland family business, and knew their unique products on offer would be just perfect!! We ordered the AFL Collingwood Magpies Cremation Urn, engraved with clear case. Easy to ordering and payment process, prompt delivery (within timeframe required by company) to create their unique Cremation Urn. Arrived well protected from any potential damage. Highly recommend this small Australian QLD business to anyone with a sport loving loved one when the time comes. Thank you so much Identify Urns
After losing my Husband I couldn’t find anything that suited him to hold his Ashes until I saw the AFL Footy Identity Urn. What a fun way to celebrate his life as a massive Footy Fan, especially West Coast Eagles. We all Love it….Thank you so much 🙏🏼
Amazing quality and such a precious idea for loved ones who loved footy as much as they loved life. My Dad was a huge Eels supporter and he would be stoked that this is his urn, thankyou so so much Identity Urns, means so much to me 💙💛
My Dad endured dementia for 6 years before he passed away Feb 2025. The only activity that would calm him down was to watch replays of the NZ All Blacks. I am so glad I found "Identity Urns" online, I couldn't be happier with their unique memorial urns. Thank you so much!!
I had been looking for the perfect Urn for my son (he ask me please don't keep my ashes in a wooden box on the mantel) well we didn't have a mantle BUT had him in a box provided by the Funeral home. I had been looking for 9 or 10 months and came across Identity Urns and was so excited as he was a HUGE Arsenal fan and this would be absolutely perfect for him and he would have said "that is so cool" We had a few issues (not us Afterpay for NZ) I reached out and Alison responded quickly and was absolutely amazing, friendly and so helpful. We did after a few weeks get it sorted out and my Urn for my boy was sent. I was stressing as I wanted to have it for his 1 year Anniversary with wing 🪽(1/10/2024) and Alison did everything to make sure this happened. I would highly recommend Identity Urns not just because of their amazing service bit the great quality of the Urn as well.
