Nice resting place for those that have passed
Bus stop right out front from Chatswood. Easy to find well signposted inside.
If you want to be forgotten, this is the right place to go. It is not possible to search online where your relatives are buried here. You have to ring them during business hours, which makes it hard to do ancestry searches ie their information services are not on par with other Sydney resting places. At least you’ll be in good company.
Thank you so much to Suzie who helped me on Monday, 04/03/2025. A general enquiry for assistance was handled with care and she was so awesome to deal with . My partner and I visited the gardens 15/02 and found it so lovely and peaceful. A happy resting place for his parents. (My only recommendation is that a virtual map/directory be available for people trying to find loved ones.)
I guess my expectations were very different to what we found when we arrived. I expected more help finding a plaque. I expected an iPad or two on stands in the reception area and on the iPads we would be able to search by surname and find a photograph of every plaque on site, and then be given a map reference to assist with finding the plaque in the garden. That is what I would implement if I were running a memorial garden. This was my expectation and it just wasn't there 😕.
The ground's are fabulously set out, walking through the garden's was so impressive. Easy access to cafe and function room. The staff were great and service was fantastic from all.
