We cannot recommend John and Marg highly enough. From our very first meeting through to the funeral service, they were nothing short of amazing. John, our funeral director, and Marg, our celebrant, were warm, compassionate, and incredibly thoughtful every step of the way. During one of the most difficult times in our lives, they provided genuine care, guidance, and support, making an overwhelming process so much easier to navigate. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to every detail ensured that our loved one received a beautiful and meaningful farewell. We are so grateful for everything they did and will always appreciate the care and respect they showed our family. Thank you John and Marg, for helping us through such a challenging time.

Thank you for nice peaceful atmosphere to say a Goodbye to a loved one, it was indeed a lovely service... But I just want to highlight that the toilet could do with some disability railing for the elderly.. As I had trouble getting into the cubicle to help my Aunty today, because it was locked and she had struggled to pull herself up of the toilet to stand up... Got there in the end, thank God.. But could have been a real problem...

Pat cashin, is absolutely rude and discusting towards family and friends that are grieving. to claim you "don't" have a website when there is literally a button and it explains and shows how to watch a funeral. then to state on everything that you are AVAILABLE ALL HOURS and then say it is only for emergencies, say you don't have a diary on you and then HANG UP is discraceful and no way to treat people that are grieving! would never EVER recommend this funeral service to anyone. show some KINDNESS and RESPECT! Doesn't even deserve one star!

Most rudest person I have ever come across in a time that Pat should have be compassionate. Remember word of mouth is the best advertisement!!

Our experience with Pat Cashins Funeral Directors in Ballarat was deeply disappointing and distressing. While Pat initially came across as kind and friendly when we were deciding on services, his demeanor changed dramatically once we committed to using his company. He became forgetful and rude, and the “ballpark” quote he provided turned out to be over $1,000 short of the final bill. To make matters worse, he verbally abused us on multiple occasions, including on the day of the funeral, in front of our grieving family. This behavior was both unprofessional and utterly disrespectful. In one shocking instance, he described the cremation process in unnecessary and graphic detail to my Dad and Uncle, including temperatures and the removal of metals. This was completely inappropriate and added to our distress during an already difficult time. When I later called to discuss the bill, his conduct was even more abusive. After speaking with others in the community, it appears our negative experience is not an isolated one. I would strongly advise anyone against using Pat Cashins Funeral Directors. A funeral is a time for compassion and professionalism, neither of which we received from this company.

Thank you to Pat and his team, especially John, for their genuine compassion and dedication. It's the attention to detail and non-rushed accommodating service that truly set them apart, allowing us to give Dad a send-off that he would have been proud of. We are deeply grateful to everyone involved.
