Pink Lady Funerals

Pink Lady Funerals is a family owned and operated business serving Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, the Hunter and the Central Coast, with more than 20 years of experience. Its female co-ordinators bring three generations of family experience to the service, and the all-female team supports families throughout the funeral planning process.

Ceremonies are held at the company's own Reflections Chapel, a venue for families and friends to gather and say farewell.

Personal care and empathy shaped the experience one Newcastle family describes after losing their mother in October 2021. The bereaved daughter called Christine immediately, and arrangements were taken in hand from that first contact onwards. Christine, together with Jared, Rylan, Greg and Cherie and the wider Pink Lady Funerals team, is thanked for guiding the family through one of the most difficult periods they had faced and for supporting the reviewer's sisters as well.

Nothing asked of the team was treated as a burden, and the tribute, written some time later, notes that care and understanding remained constant throughout the funeral arrangements. The acknowledgement extends to the whole group rather than one individual, indicating that each person involved contributed to how supported the family felt.
