We are grieving and then to have this... WOW. Totally hurt and will be spreading the word about why people should NOT use your services or even bother to call your company, you never know who you may be talking to on the other end of the phone. I work in a similar industry that works hand in hand with funerals.... learn how to treat your customers and especially customers that are grieving.
We are so incredibly grateful to everyone at The Last Hurrah for the care, compassion, and attention to detail they showed our family while we said goodbye to our dad. What could have been an overwhelming experience was handled with such warmth and professionalism, and it truly meant the world to us. Mon was amazing. Calm, thoughtful, and deeply present with us throughout the whole journey. The personal touches meant everything. Chelsea was an absolute dream, bringing so much comfort and reassurance, along with Richard, who was equally kind and professional. Suzie brought such care and attention to detail. It’s something we will always cherish. Tee and Chelsea were wonderful on the day, seamlessly supporting us with anything we needed. Nissassa created such a special atmosphere, giving us space while also adding beautiful touches that made the final farewell unforgettable. Kimba made those first difficult moments feel manageable, guiding us with such care, and Jullianne ensured everything behind the scenes was handled perfectly. Even now, after everything, we’re still amazed by the ongoing support we’re receiving. Ophelia has been incredibly patient and kind as we take our time making some of the final decisions. It’s meant so much to not feel rushed during such a difficult time. Every single person we encountered was kind, genuine, and exceptional at what they do. We will always be grateful. What a truly special team.
Ash and the Last Hurrah were perfect for my husband's recent cremation and memorial celebration. It brings me great comfort to re-watch Ash's presentation and gentle guidance through the afternoon of honouring Simon. I can't thank you and your team enough ❤️
Ash and the team were unbelievably kind, gracious, patient, professional and welcoming to the different wants and needs from our family. My grandmother was treated with the utmost dignity and care, and the vigil, service, and burial all went off without a hitch. Thanks to Last Hurrah, we were able to mourn, celebrate, laugh, and love throughout this trying time without added stressors. If your loved one has passed on, please contact Last Hurrah. You'll be in safe hands.
Very grateful to The Last Hurrah and can't recommend them highly enough. Kimba and the team provided gentle, compassionate guidance and support when my father died. They really followed our lead but also anticipated our needs. Ophelia was open-minded and creative in helping us think through how to honour Dad's very specific wishes for his ashes. Thank you so much.
The Last Hurrah were the most helpful and brilliant people during our difficult time of grief. As a family we lost someone suddenly, and whilst we were mired in sadness and confusion, Ash, Stass + Sass were very patient, informing and supportive towards the most fitting funeral. They reflected all the elements of our wishes and the person who passed. Many funeral attendees (during and afterwards) commented on how well done the service was, and we're deeply grateful to the Last Hurrah team. They're the best people to never know you need, until you do.
We recently lost our dear father Bill on 26/9/25 From the get go Kimba, Mon and the team supported my whole family Our celebrant Mon has very deep listening skills and made sure our service for dad was exactly what we wanted Mon made everything so clear and guided us step by step through so many processes On the day Mon wore something tartan for our dear dads scottish roots which I thought was very kind and honoured our dad. Mon gave all of us time on the day ensuring we were all coping . I thoroughly recommend the The Last Hurrah I really dont know how we would have coped without their compassion and knowledge of the industry. Thank you from The Forresters
