Hiram Philp Funerals has been serving Toowoomba since 1903. It was founded by Hiram Philp and his wife Emma, growing from a small joinery workshop on Herries Street, and three generations have carried the business forward. It is now part of the InvoCare network.
The company supports families throughout Toowoomba, Cambooya, Clifton, Crow's Nest, Hampton and surrounding areas. Its chapel has stained glass windows and seats 80 guests, with standing room for 20 more, and the company offers burial and cremation guidance among its funeral services.

The way David and Penny handled everything was so simplified, and organised at a pace that really gave us, not only plenty of time to plan and get everything together but respected our time to mourn during this hardship. This was my first time I've had to organise a funeral, so it was really overwhelming not knowing where to even begin, but David and Penny really explained everything well and never rushed me throughout the whole process. Everybody couldn't stop telling me that day how great the service was, so thank you so much again David and Penny, I'm so happy how the day turned out myself and I could've asked for a better service for Mum. Funerals tend to bring the best and at times, the worst out in people as they struggle to come to grips with the loss of a loved one or even someone that held a special place in one's life. I found the staff and especially David who went to extraordinary lengths to appease, arrange and orchestrate the best possible service imaginable to be of the highest order. His care and support prior to, during and after the service was exceptional We often hear advertisements in hushed tones assuring all who need the services of an undertaker or more generally that person or group who can give their all to ensure that the life recently concluded on this earth is celebrated and remembered in a manner that befits the person being farewelled. I can happily and sincerely assure anyone in need of this special service that they need never look further than Hiram Philp Funeral Directors in Toowwomba. They are a special class of people who put kindness, compassion and service before all else and I could not recommend them highly enough.
