I'd like to thank Dean and Eliza and all the team at Perry & Oster Funerals for their care and professionalism after the death of my aunt. From the first phone call they were calm, capable and compassionate. My aunt passed away in Queensland, but as the rest of the family live in NSW it was really important for us to know that there was a team in the Sunshine Coast ready to take care of her before, during and after the cremation. Every time I called they knew who I was, and were able to help me navigate the process and documentation. It really is a vocation to do this work, and we're grateful that we found Perry & Oster. From the very first phone call after our loved one passed away, Dean was compassionate, professional and incredibly organised. During the hardest week of our lives, he made everything feel manageable. Every phone call was answered, every text was replied to almost immediately, and every question we had was met with patience and genuine care. If he didn’t know the answer, he’d find out and call us back straight away. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Every detail—from the planning and catalogues to the service itself—was handled with so much care and respect. Dean took the time to understand our family, respected our culture, and guided us through every step with kindness and compassion. The service was absolutely beautiful, and we truly couldn’t have asked for anything more. Dean didn’t just do his job—he genuinely cared about our family. If you’re looking for someone to trust with your loved one, I cannot recommend Dean highly enough. We genuinely could not fault a single thing, and we’ll always be grateful for the love, dignity and professionalism he showed us during the most difficult time of our lives. Thank you, Dean. Nan’s transfer and cremation were handled with such care and respect, exactly as she had prepaid and organised herself. The entire process was straightforward and seamless, which was a huge comfort to our family during an incredibly emotional time. Simple and dignified arrangement for Mum who did not want a funeral. Transparent and affordable pricing and great communication. Dean was very helpful we really did not have to do anything it was all laid out for us which helped at such a callenging time. Highly recommended
