The way the staff at Finneys helped my family during this horrible time was above & beyond what I could have hoped for. I viewed my father in his coffin & felt overwhelming relief & calmness on how perfect he looked laying there. I could not have asked for him to possibly look anymore at peace

I cannot thank Lisa enough for her care compassion and support with our family after our Dad's recent passing. And today at his family viewing she again went above and beyond, I know that he was well taken care of and for this I will be forever grateful. My wife was recently Cremated by Finney Funeral Services. The whole process was done with tact and compassion by all Finney members involved. Angela and Mark arranged a beautiful service. They dealt with even the smallest detail with ‘feeling’ - nothing was missed. The whole process was made to be as painless as possible considering the circumstances. Thanks guy’s, you’re the best. You deserve more than 5 stars.

We cannot express our gratitude enough for the “above and beyond” service we received at Finneys. Mark was compassionate and flexible around our needs. We were beyond grateful for the support and amazing service provided at a difficult time for our family. Communication and service was amazing and we highly recommend if wanting a caring and personal approach. The follow up support and advice was also greatly appreciated.

So little attention to detail, connection and caring. Initial interaction was rushed and lacked compassion. Things like notices and the service program fell to us as family to make multiple changes and get to a point of being acceptable, all the things they do daily they didn't do well. The service did come together beautifully but we didn't have a sense of confidence leading up to it, which isn't as it should be, especially at a time like that. Everything we were given to review was of such a poor standard, family should not have to be involved at the level we were to make things look right and get done. From start to finish they just missed so many details, including not notifying when ashes were available - we had to follow up with them - 3 week delay. We wouldn't recommend, there is just no sense of support and such a low level of attention to detail.

The team at Finney, particularly Mark Dowsen were compassionate and efficient in helping us organise our mum's funeral. They were also culturally aware and sensitive and met our needs in regards to organising a Hindu funeral. All our requests were met and nothing was a challenge. They also have one of the two crematoriums in Launceston on site and the only crematorium open 24/7 which allows for quick cremation as required by several cultures. It was a no brainer to go with Finneys from the moment we picked up the phone asking for help. Thank you once again for the care and dignity you gave our late mother.
