We wish to thank Hetherington Funerals for the professionalism with which our dear mum's funeral was conducted recently. From the very first interaction, when Veneshaa and Leo answered our call in the early hours of the morning following mum's passing, we experienced respect, consideration and sympathy. We were given as much time as we wanted/needed before they took mum away. We then met Drew, who welcomed us into the funeral parlor and wanted to get to know our mum. He then coordinated a Rosary and Requiem Mass, taking into account what had been important to mum and what was important to us. There was frequent communication as needed and prompt reply to our requests. Throughout the funeral, there was once again respect and consideration from Drew, Veneshaa, Leo and our limo driver - Shub. Losing my Dad was one of the hardest things our family has ever gone through. I had rung around to a few funeral homes and from the very first phone call, it was clear that Heatherington was the right choice for us. Right from the beginning, Poppy and the team showed nothing but kindness, compassion and professionalism. From the moment Dad was brought into their care, right through to the service itself, every detail was handled so thoughtfully and with such respect. They were incredibly understanding and accommodating of our wishes which meant so much to our family and gave us precious time with him. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we felt supported every step of the way during such a difficult time. We truly couldn’t fault them and are so grateful for the care, dignity and compassion they showed our family and our Dad. Highly recommend Hetherington Funerals, from the first meeting, the viewing, the vendors they use and the service were all amazing and exactly what we wanted for my husband's send off. I would like to express our family's sincere gratitude for the professional and compassionate way in which our mother's funeral was planned and conducted. Our Funeral Director Drew Wilson was friendly, caring and highly efficient. He responded to all communications very promptly which was important as the initial arrangements had to be done remotely. All of the associated services such as photography, audiovisual, printing and catering were highly satisfactory. Thank you to all involved.

Hetherington's recently helped us organise my mum's funeral. On such a sad and difficult time Poppy was comforting, thoughtful and kind providing us with wonderful support. Nothing was too much and responses were prompt. The day was beautiful and Poppy's quiet and unassuming manner in supporting us all, guiding us and caring for the service just meant we could 100% focus on thinking about our mum, wife and nanna. I honestly couldn't speak highly enough. The team that supports Hetheringtons with the flowers, booklets and video/music were also kind and considerate in their interactions with us. It was a service my mum would have loved, and we were able to hold her fully in heart and mind and leave the rest to Hetheringtons. Thank you

Absolutely AMAZING! The entire team from Heatherington were absolutely amazing. Facing a situation like this is hard enough but everyone at Heatherington made the entire process so much easier. We needed to get our loved one from Perth to NZ and we had been told so many horror stories going into this journey so we were very unsettled about the whole process. This team made all those fears disappear right from the get go. So easy to contact, answered all our questions, met all our expectations and pushed to have all our needs met. Coming from a Māori background, we had many cultural needs that we wanted met and Heatherington were more than happy to accommodate and were very culturally sensitive. I will constantly sing their praises. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ♥️
