Our mother passed away at home in February, 2026. The two staff members of James Murray Funerals who came out to take care of her body were so incredibly caring and respectful. They were exactly what we needed at a very distressing time. They asked us what Mum’s favorite music was and played it for her as they drove her away. From there, Jarred Ridley and the staff looked after us through every little thing that needed to be done - a viewing, a funeral mass, cremation, choosing an urn. The funeral booklet itself was very beautiful and the service was perfect. Mum would have loved it though she would have told us to stop making a fuss! She was like that. Jarred was always available to talk us through the procedure and was extremely caring and supportive at all times. I recommend James Murray Funeral Directors highly.
We were extremely happy with James Murray Funeral Directors. Jarred was very professional and a lovely man. The celebrant who was chosen, Michelle Snape was perfect. Our Mother/Mothet-in-law and Grandmother was treated with the utmost respect as were we. This is the 4th funeral that I have had to arrange with James Murray and each time they have acted in the most loving and caring way. Highly recommend.

I have nothing but the highest praise for the way in which James Murray Funeral Directors dealt with my family during our recent bereavement. Jarred was incredibly kind, compassionate , and SO patient , and absolutely nothing was too much trouble. Communication was excellent at every step of this painful process, and advice was given when asked for , but with no pressure at all. I would highly recommend this company.
