We are so grateful to Lonergan & Raven Funerals and in particular, Shannon and his professional, warm and kind approach. He guided us smoothly through our recent funeral arrangements. From start to finish, he was supportive, precise and exceptionally organised. The communication was clear, responsive and empathic from the first point of contact, and on the day, the team’s calm, peaceful presence was deeply reassuring to our whole family. Thank you Nigel and your team at Lonergan & Raven for assisting our father Peter Loughnan’s recent funeral. From initially meeting us at very short notice on a Friday afternoon, your care was wonderful. Thank you so much also for taking the time on a Sunday evening, without hesitation, to allow my daughter the opportunity to say goodbye to her grandfather, as she was unable to make the subsequent funeral. Eternally grateful for this. Your planning and preparation for the funeral eased what was otherwise a stressful time for our family. Your personal hands-on efforts into the evening at Dad’s very large wake did not go unnoticed either, and very much appreciated. We would highly recommend Lonergan & Raven.

We would like to thank Lonergan and Raven for conducting the celebration of our mother Marilyn Finnigan’s life. Initially we chose them as they had managed the funeral of our father 17 years ago at mums request. From first contact they were highly professional and made the whole process extremely easy at a difficult time. The whole week ran smoothly and on time and somehow Nigel and his staff knew when to pop up at exactly the right time and they gave everyone the space to grieve and celebrate. Myself and my family received wonderfully professional and sympathetic attention from Nigel Davies and the Lonergan and Raven staff in arranging the funeral for our dear wife and mother, Jan. Nigel worked to ensure the funeral service met all of our wishes and excellent assistance was provided in the planning of every detail for the Church service. We were pleased we adopted the suggestion that a video of the service be prepared for those unable to attend or wishing to view the service again. We have received numerous positive comments regarding the professional production of this. Lonergan & Raven were just fantastic in handling the funeral of my dear mum. This was my first time being responsible for organising anything like this, and the wonderful De Arne just came to my rescue (thank you De Arne). Her suggestions and advice were welcomed like a sea breeze on a very hot day. Limo drivers Elf and Nigel were just great company on the way, and the catering was just superb afterwards, as commented by all those who attended. The service was just absolutely superb. Mum was a catholic, and De Arne picked out Father Martin (I left it up to her) to lead the funeral. He came to my home, and we discussed all the fine details. He led the funeral in a very sensitive and understanding way, and a wonderful person he is. Thank you De Arne, and a big thanks to all the other members of Lonergan & Raven Funerals that chipped in along the way. Thank you all.
