If you just need to get the job done, it'll be fine. This is about affordable as it gets and the staff are well meaning and kind. But if you need it to go smoothly and stress free, maybe think twice. Or at least have a non grieving friend to co-ordinate and double check everything, especially on the day, so that you can spend the day farewelling your loved one as you should.

My brother and I lost our beautiful Mum. It's been a significant loss and almost debilitating. As soon as we lost her we were tasked with a very important choice to make, due mostly to a non negotiable that was extremely important to us, and had proved very challenging for us to be able to guarantee at a time where your brain is trying to shut down to cope with what we had just been through the past month and what has been lost, and changed forever. After getting nowhere and growing more and more concerned, I was referred to Louise, at Simplicity Funerals. Louise could and did guarantee our request for our Mum. She also somehow managed to guide us through the process, with a genuine understanding of grief and loss, which was exactly what we needed after having no idea what to do. Lou was kind, unassuming, respectful and gracious. We are so thankful for the way in which our Mum was taken care of by Lou and her colleagues. I'm still in awe at the effortless comfortability and ease she can strike into even the most harrowing and darkest moments of a person's life. Thankyou for everything, Lou. Truly. Could not recommend Simplicity Funerals enough. 🌹

This company and staff members are the best, I have just completed my funeral arrangements and it’s exactly what I want they answered all my questions I am 100% happy with their personalised service. I can move onto my final resting place knowing that it is all arranged and it’s what I wanted, Funeral of my choice and most importantly my family won’t have to deal with this side of things. Better still all paid for gives me that peace of mind. The prices are amazing plenty of options to choose from you decided what’s best for you and your budget. Highly recommend this Funeral Service Simplicity offer. Go and talk to someone today find out your options. Certainly worth it 😋

From arranging the prepaid funeral to the actual Celebration of my partner's life Lou was amazing. She listened to our reminiscing and guided us on what could be offered and how to proceed. Lou did all the readings for us, and friends and family commented on how well she knew the personality of the man she was describing, and how she expressed such warmth and care to the family. Sincere thanks to Lou and the team at Simplicity Funerals.

Called regarding the cremation of my father. I started explaining my situation as it was a difficult situation and I had never arranged a cremation or knew any of the protocols regarding it. I was interrupted mid sentence and asked if I filled in papers. Again, not as simple as a yes or no since I had filled in 5 different paper's and I wasn’t sure what ones she referred to. So I started asking which papers she was talking about. And again, I was interrupted and asked more aggressively if I filled papers, yes or no. I again started saying I organised it with someone else (not at the funeral home, but the welfare as he had no will or arrangements - I was trying to talk and explain) and I was interrupted a 3rd time equally as aggressively and told that she was the only one there and if I hadn’t filled papers, I wouldn’t be able to collect. This was all very aggressive and knowing nothing, or how any of it is arranged, and after waiting 2 weeks with no update regarding my late father, i had decided to call but was met with this incredibly uncaring person. I hung up the phone after the 4th interruption because I was getting incredibly stressed from not being allowed to speak or explain myself without being cut off. For someone that deals with people’s loss regularly, she was so unsympathetic and uncaring. As if loosing your loved one and family wasn’t hard enough, thanks for making me live with a huge knot in my stomach and making me think I’m an idiot for not knowing something I’ve never experienced, learnt or been told. Formal complaint will be made to your employer. Edit: i received an apology from the same lady and while I appreciate the attempt, I am not sure an apology undoes the lack of empathy I received. I understand everyone is human but in such an essentially compassionate position, I feel I should have never had to deal with that. I will be passing on my situation to anyone asking about reviews on Funeral homes. Edit 2: The business replied to my review but I received no contact despite being told I would be. Can't help but feel my review was replied to simply for their own appearance and not because I was disgusted with their service.

Louise is the perfect person for this position. She is a great communicator. She is a friendly, caring person who put our family at ease during this difficult time. She accomodated our requests and needs. I would recommend her to my family and friends. I wish to thank her for her support of my family
