We cannot thank Michael, Paul and the team at Fitzgeralds in Townsville enough for the amazing service they provided to our Mother and Father who past just prior to Christmas this year. To say they went 'above and beyond' looking after both Mum and Dad cannot be understated! As a family this ensured us that our parents were well looked after. Michael was able to arrange for our parents to have their service together (they passed 3 days apart), which is simply amazing, was another thing they did to make the occasion all that more memorable. It is the simple things that people do that can much such a difference and this is what we experienced at Fitzgeralds. The support, guidance and comfort provided in making arrangements was exceptional and ensured that our parents service and final day was what exactly what they wanted. I cannot thank Michael and the team enough for all of their genuine support and comfort. Thank you!

The Fitzgerald's team are amazing at what they do. They deal with people at the worst times of their lives, and do it with the utmost of compassion, professionalism, and just overall lovelyness. Mick and the team went out of their way to make sure we understood what was happening, and gave us plenty of options to suit our budget. They managed to retrieve mum earlier than thought so she didn't have to spend another weekend in the hospital. The day ran so smoothly that I don't even remember most of it! I didn't have to second guess anything as I knew it was taken care of. Being able to bring Poppi dog along at Mick's suggestion made the day a tiny bit more bearable. They even got the colours of the flowers EXACTLY right, and included plenty that could be dried and preserved, which I now appreciate. It was all these little details that, when looking back now the initial shock has dulled, make all the difference. Thank you all for looking after mum, and then looking after everyone she left behind.

Michael went about and beyond to get my son's ashes home before Christmas. All the staff were so caring and considerate. They took so much time and care in my time of need. The urn and box were so beautiful and the certificate is just so beautiful. I highly recommend

Would not recommend at all, Very unprofessional and uncaring, money hungry, was not even offered to have a coffin or an urn, told me to get flowers from Woolworths to put on top of coffin ⚰️
