He went above and beyond to explore every detail and made the process so stress free for us which gave us precious moments to spend time with family and process the death of a loved one. The day itself went as smoothly as could be with many family friends commenting on the amazing job he did, especially given it was a funeral which involved quite a few Vietnamese cultural traditions blended with some modern touches. In April, Matt looked after all the details of arranging my wife’s funeral, both at Bunnerong crematorium and at our local church in Rosebud Victoria. I have read other reviews of how Matt has excelled in virtually every review posting. When I read these, I can only endorse each one of them as being similar to my experience. The only additional comments I can make to help others dealing with choosing a funeral director, and it’s always during a stressful time, is that I am amazed at that Matt exceeds everyone’s expectations and I thought that he was just very good to us! He is a man with amazing empathy and capacity to conduct Services in such a professional and sensitive way. The other point I would make is that Matt, based in Sydney, was able to quickly make arrangements in Victoria using his local support people in the Picaluna network. His colleagues were in sync with Matt’s way of working - they worked together seamlessly. Thank you Matt for making this difficult time as comfortable as it possibly can be.
