Attending a funeral that was officiated by Lovell Meizer Funerals, is like being in the moment of the persons live that about to be laid to rest. I felt the warmth, dedication and commitment to understand the family’s need for a beautiful goodbye to carry on memories of their loved one. Hearing the soft tones in Kristy’s voice speaking on behalf of the family is like she lived the past memories with the beloved family. She brings memories to light and knows the right time to bring the funny times in on a day that is hard for many.

The love and care given to not only my nan but the family was something that we will forever be grateful for, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. They made a heartbreaking loss that little bit easier by going above and beyond.

I have planned and carried out 2 very different funerals through Lovell Meizer and I could not possibly have hoped for a better experience, both times. The first was a pre-planned, unorthodox memorial service for a unique person, and was absolutely perfect. Kristy and Shi made the planning and the day go very smoothly, made us feel safe and comfortable, and made an awful situation go as smoothly as could be expected. The second was a quick-turn-around catholic service for a huge family and was utterly amazing. Kristy and Shi were kind, honest, human, and incredible through both experiences and I would recommend them to everyone. There is also a good reason they are the only funeral director in the Canberra Queer Directory - they show real respect for people from all walks of life.

Really excellent service. Smaller funeral home, so the owners are involved throughout. Helpful, responsive and seem to be quite a bit less expensive than others in Canberra.
