3.5 / 5 · 11 totalOn my recent visit to Townsville Crematorium I was pleasantly surprised to see a much needed improvement to the garden and grounds 🌸
Horrible customer service. Always getting answer machine. Say they will call but still waiting 3 days later after my mum was cremated.
Visiting my old mate 🦀
Never been more disappointed. the gardens are un-kept and shabby the ponds are disgusting and are not maintained and the water is green with slime with a gross odour the care takers should be ashamed
We recently made an appointment with Townsville Cremations on the recommendation of a couple of local people. Being from out of town, we decided to go with this recommendation. We (3 sisters) had travelled from across the country to be with our dying sister. Unfortunately she couldn’t wait for us. We were scheduled to be in Townsville only 4 or 5 days as we had to return to our grieving elderly mother. So at the same time as grieving the passing of our sister, we had limited time to sort out her affairs and ‘hopefully’ transport her ashes with us to Mum in order to have a memorial service in our home town. Allen was compassionate yet very professional and thorough. He listened respectfully to our needs and offered honestly what he thought he could do to assist us. He then went above and beyond to successfully and seamlessly pull everything together quickly in the limited time we had, including providing the opportunity for close family and friends in Townsville to pay their respects and farewell our sister. We could not fault Allen nor any of the staff at Townsville Cremations and we highly recommend their services.
Wonderful ceremony, beautiful place, well run and organised.
Many of my family members and friends sleep in the well-kept gardens at Woongarra. We had to make arrangements to add my late sister's ashes to our family group, and with the help and knowledge of Dianne it was sorted out very quickly and easily. It is a peaceful place and well-run!
