Ashley, Cameron, and Kerry provided exceptional support to our family after the loss of my Dad. Ashley went above and beyond, visiting our home, always making himself available when we needed guidance, and adapting seamlessly as our plans changed three times before Dad's farewell gathering. Kerry was a fabulous celebrant who delivered a beautiful and heartfelt service. Many of the guests who attended commented on how lovely and meaningful the ceremony was. Couldn’t have been blessed with better people to help send my angel off on her new journey. Both Ashley and his angel of a wife have made this experience somewhat easier in such a horrific time. Spoke with Ashley when I got there and got introduced to Cameron another amazing staff member for this company. The both of them had me laughing and made the situation so much less overwhelming. Lost is a very hard thing to go through and picking where your loved one ends up and who sends them into their next destination is everything and I couldn’t have made any better choice by picking Academy funerals. Ashley was a great help to myself and the family during the recent passing of my sister. He was caring and sensitive and very accommodating. He helped us keep funeral costs low with recommendations and examples. My only negative was the flowers that I ordered. My sister's favourite colour was yellow, and I ordered a bouquet that was all yellow and white. When the day came however, we had a bouquet of multiple colours. I didn't say anything because they were absolutely beautiful, and it was too late to change them. There was no point in complaint. I would highly recommend Ashley if you are wanting a reasonably priced funeral with efficient, respectful and compassionate care takers.
