4.5 / 5 · 19 totalAll aspects in dealing with arrangements from Simplicity Funerals. It was a stress free experience. This includes required paperwork to be completed, viewing of loved one. I was particularly impressed with presentation when viewing loved one at Plympton and SA Cremations in hand delivering ashes in respectful manner. I could not fault the services provided. Highly recommend Simplicity Funerals.
We would like to sincerely thank Simplicity Funerals Plympton- Andrew & all staff for the care, compassion, and professionalism shown during our grandfather’s recent funeral service. From the first phone call to the final goodbye, your team made a difficult time much easier for our family. Your attention to detail, patience, and understanding helped us honour our grandfather’s life in the most respectful and meaningful way. We truly appreciated the gentle guidance, clear communication, and genuine warmth shown throughout the process. Thank you for helping us give him the farewell he deserved.
Brett, at the Plympton branch, was lovely... guiding us gently through each step until we had a plan that suited my parents. He let us take the time to think it through, ask questions to help make decisions. On the day he was so respectful to each family member and helpful with showing us to seating and giving us space to grieve quietly, but not leave us to feel abandoned. Very sweet and empathetic, and much appreciated.
Mum passed on the 22nd January and this funeral home have been fantastic have looked after mum and my family very supportive and understanding highly recommended
Absolutely fantastic venue to celebrate the life of your loved ones. Susan and the rest of the staff were amazing and helped with every detail of our wishes. Highly recommend!
We greatly appreciated Lyn’s kindness, and professionalism during the recent loss of our father. She managed the arrangements flawlessly, making the day seamless, comforting and a sad time a little less traumatic. Thank you Plympton Simplicity.
Disappointed with the service we received. The deceased had a pre-paid funeral which we were never told exactly how much, but it appeared to be approx. $10k. We supplied a typed notice with all names spelt correctly for the paper, the proof had 3 names wrong, then had 2 more proofs before it was correct. Funeral notice another error. Memorial card had 4 errors (same 3 names spelt wrong), plus the deceased's name was wrong, several more proofs. We supplied the slideshow 4 days before, that had some important photos at the end, it was cut off after the first song. Obviously it hadn't been watched to know that there was another half a song. A massive disappointment for the work that was put in to put it all together. We couldn't fault the celebrant Michelle, who was extremely diligent in getting everything right. At the end of the day we were charged over $12k (expecting to pay extra for digging the grave) but for this amount of money we would have expected it all to be done right. I won't mention the funeral director's name but she obviously was rushing everything and not checking anything. And for that money you think at least a bit of fruit cake or something with the tea/coffee, but it was arrowroot biscuits or similar.
