The business traces back to 1998, when Jeff and Judy started Funeral Transfer Services Australia; the Proserpine funeral home was added in 2010. Services offered include cremation, burial and 'The Gentle Way' funeral services.

Would highly recommend Whitsunday funerals. like to thank the staff at Whitsunday for there care and the wonderful service for my Mum thank you Jules your work in this trying time was so caring and understanding as a family again thanks for everything 🙏
Wanted an extra $1000 on top of what was already paid for a prepaid funeral whilst their advertising says one of the benefits of prepaying is to avoid inflation. Didn't explain to our family how a casket should be lowered into an older grave thus causing much hassle and the casket to drop before the pallbearers quickly rescued it. Were supposed to print 60 funeral programs, we got 30. When a refund was asked for the man laughed in our face. Very condescending when trying to talk to them about these issues. Avoid at all costs.
Highly recommend Whitsunday Funerals for their authentic, pragmatic and caring approach. I didn't know where to start when my mum passed away at 10pm. I can't thank Tracey enough for her down to earth, authentic compassion in looking after my mum. So efficient and easy to deal with taking you through the steps of what needs to be done. Thanks again Tracey.
I highly recommend whitsunday funerals, locally owned too... they went above and beyond when I lost my dad they are so caring and compassionate and attention to detail it was amazing... dad got the best send off and it was made possible by Nathan and the team at whitsunday funerals

Myself and my mum and family were just so completely happy and satisfied with WhitSunday funeral home we came in and didn’t know where to start they took care of everything they are so caring and helpful people. The service was outstanding the booklet was so colourful and everyone who attended made remarks on how well the day and service went thank you so very much WhitSunday funeral homes for making our day a memorable day.
Great attention to detail and a caring attitude. Have been to a few of their funeral services lately (sadly). I find them to be great at what they do and they are always looking to improve on their already excellent service. Thank you for caring.
